Hotel Bartenders: only 2 weeks left!

The deadline for the Travel + Leisure Beverage Arts Challenge is only two weeks away. The Beverage Arts Challenge is a search for the most creative and talented hotel bartenders in the country. Three finalists will compete for the Grand Mixologist Title. Dale DeGroff, Tony Abou-Ganim, Eben Freeman and Jim Meehan will select the Grand Mixologist in a live competition at the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.

The winner will receive a trip for two the the Bahamas, coverage in Travel + Leisure and the respect of yours truly.

Get all the gory details and submit your recipes at the Beverage Arts Challenge website. You'll have to hurry though, all entries are due before 11:59 pm EST on August 25, 2008.

I wish I were eligible for this one! Any hotels out there need a bartender?
